Introduction to Open Science and Open Access in English
I will introduce the fundamental principles of Open Science and Open Access, which have become an integral part of all publicly funded projects. I will explain their significance as well as the primary challenges involved. Participants will become familiar with key concepts, the main methods of open publishing, the benefits and potential risks, and the support available in this area at the BC.
NOTE: Open Science and Open Access go beyond just publishing in Open Access journals. Current grant requirements regarding Open Science are much broader in scope!
The training will be conducted in English and will be held in a hybrid format (both in-person and online). Those who join us in person at TAS can look forward to some light refreshments…
