SUMMARY:Introduction to Open Science and Open Access in English
DESCRIPTION:I will introduce the fundamental principles of Open Science and
  Open Access\, which have become an integral part of all publicly funded pr
 ojects. I will explain their significance as well as the primary challenges
  involved. Participants will become familiar with key concepts\, the main m
 ethods of open publishing\, the benefits and potential risks\, and the supp
 ort available in this area at the BC.\nNOTE: Open Science and Open Access g
 o beyond just publishing in Open Access journals. Current grant requirement
 s regarding Open Science are much broader in scope!\n \nThe training will 
 be conducted in English and will be held in a hybrid format (both in-person
